This setup method is provided primarily for systems that cannot download executable files as a security measure. This page provides the procedure for installation of Beam 2D Stress Analysis on this computer or a computer connected to this computer through a network. To extract setup files you must have an extraction utility available on your system such as WinZip.

To install Beam 2D on this computer:

• Download Beam2D.zip setup file (4.3 MB) to a temporary folder.
• Extract all files contained in Beam2D.zip to the chosen folder using an extraction utility such as WinZip.
• Install Beam2D in Windows by executing Setup.exe located in the temporary folder and follow instructions on the screen.
• After Beam 2D Setup is completed you may delete contents of the temporary folder. 

If you have an anti-virus program running in the background, make sure to turn it OFF during program setup and when you execute Beam 2D for the first time. You can switch the anti-virus program back ON and leave it ON afterwards.
