This page provides the procedure for installation of Beam 2D Stress Analysis on this computer or a computer connected to this computer through a network. This method may also be used to install Beam 2D on any other computer if there are means to transfer a file of this size to that computer. To install Beam 2D on this computer:

• Download Beam2D.exe setup file (4.3 MB) to a temporary folder.
• Using Windows Explorer, select the previously chosen folder and run Beam2D.exe.
  Note: A file is run (executed) by double-clicking it in the Windows Explorer window. If your Windows Explorer is configured to hide registered extensions, then Beam2D.exe may appear as Beam2D with no extension.
• Follow instructions on the screen.
• After Beam 2D Setup is completed you may delete Beam2D.exe from the hard drive. 

If you have an anti-virus program running in the background, make sure to turn it OFF during program setup and when you execute Beam 2D for the first time. You can switch the anti-virus program back ON and leave it ON afterwards.
