Beam 2D Version 3.1 is a native
32-bit application designed for Windows 95/98/Me and
Windows NT/2000. Most of the changes took place 'under the hood'
and will result in much better integration of the program with
current 32-bit Windows operating systems. Some of the new
features available in version 3.1 (comparing to version 3.0)
are:
- Long file
names are now supported
- Individually
adjustable display precision for each plot and its text
output equivalent
- Contents of
the plot printout is individually selectable
- User notes
(comments) may be attached to plot printout as well as
text output
- Editable
plot and text output captions of any length
- Date stamp
of the output is now optional
- Right-click
popup menus
- Interactive
Tutorial
- Input
fields in the Input panel can evaluate simple
mathematical expressions
- Other minor
conveniences and improvements
